This course will provide a general understanding of accounting, focusing on core concepts and skills.  Participants will obtain the skills to interpret financial statements, undertake financial analysis, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting techniques.  Participants will gain confidence through understanding the principles of accounting required to be successful in their role.

Budgeting & cash flow management

Budgeting & cash flow management skills are essential for any business manager or owner. This course will teach techniques to produce better budgets and align them with your goals and overall business strategy. Participants will also gain tools to improve their cash flow management. Through the use of practical case studies, participants will be able to readily compare budgets with forecasts and actual results and put in place mechanisms to manage cash flow. A comprehensive cash flow budget template will also be provided.

Taxation toolkit for smaller businesses 

Designed to provide participants with a brief overview of the New Zealand tax system, this course is suitable for business owners, support staff and those new to taxation. We have presented courses for organisations such as the Manukau Institute of Technology and the Employers Chamber of Commerce Central, providing participants with the building blocks of taxation.

Pricing for improved profits

This course teaches pricing skills and techniques. Through the use of real life examples and case studies, participants will be able price their products and services to achieve the highest profits possible.  Participants will also be provided with a pricing template for use in their own business or role.

General Tax Update

We regularly deliver tax updates and presentations to companies and institutions throughout New Zealand. We provide companies and their employees with an overview and understanding of the latest tax changes. Previous tax engagements include workshops with Auckland University of Technology, Chamber of Commerce and Strategi Institute.
